This hymn arrangement was composed at the request of the director of the Potomac Ward Choir in Potomac, Maryland. She requested the arrangement from the invitation posted on the web site.
Arranging All Creatures was challenging, as the hymn is beautiful and complete all by itself. The reqest was for something powerful, yet not too difficult. The arrangement takes all the beauty and magnificance of the original hymn to a new level by adding a more rythmic layer in the accompaniment against the melodic lines of the voices. I think that you will really enjoy performing this piece. |
